General Manager, Recruiting Director
Jeff was named interim Head Coach during the 2012-2013 season after joining the USC Ice Hockey staff as an assistant coach in 2010. Jeff played center from 2001-2006, served as an assistant captain and team president, during which time he won four Crosstown Cup’s, three PAC-8 Championships, two ACHA Nationals appearances and faced off against the Chinese Olympic ice hockey team in Beijing, China. Jeff grew up in Los Altos, CA and along with his brother Chis (who also played for USC Ice Hockey) came through Bay Area programs of the West Bay Polars, Belmont Ranges and California Cougars Tier II team coached by Mario Morrisette. Graduating from Bellarmine College Prep in 2001, Jeff pursued a BS in Electrical Engineering at USC. Playing hockey the entire time, Jeff completed his coursework early and began a Masters, completing it in 2006 and allowing him to stay on for this 5th year of eligibility (and an OT shootout PAC-8 championship win over the Oregon Ducks!). Through his USC network, Jeff interned with Agilent Technologies while in school, and eventually was offered full time employment where he continues to work as a Product Planner & Strategic Program Manager. Jeff is, and has been since his playing days, supported by his wife Shannon.
